15: The Conversion of Charles Manson

It’s sad to say, but depending on your age, names like; Ted Bundy, David Berkowitz, Jeffrey Dahmer, or John Wayne Gacy are household names. If those don’t ring a bell, how about The Zodiac Killer, The Son of Sam, BTK, or Jack the Ripper. The media has given murderers far too much attention and like moths to a flame, we are drawn to their stories with a misguided sense of curiosity.

One of the most famous of these killers passed away this past Sunday. Charles Manson died on November 19th, 2017 in a hospital in California. Learning over the years what he’s done, why he did it, the control over people and what he’s convinced them to do (for decades), along with the photo’s of him in the press, it’s easy to think this guy is the epitome of evil.

So the topic we cover in this podcast is, on the heels of the death of Charles Manson have you ever considered praying for the conversion of such a soul? Give it a listen and let us know what you think by email or in the comments section below.

  1. Another home run. You guys do an amazing job with your podcast. This is something I struggle with, the whole judging thing. I struggle with wanting to forgive people like this. It reminds me a lot of the parable from a few weeks ago where men were hired to do work and all were paid the same, regardless of time spend working.
